Marketplace terms
Fill The Room operates a managed marketplace connecting clients and independent artists. A booking becomes confirmed only after the applicable contract is signed and the required deposit is confirmed by the payment provider.
Before payment, clients see the artist price, Fill The Room service fee, deposit, remaining balance and the cancellation policy attached to that booking. Artists see their commission and expected payout.
Customer payments are charges made to Fill The Room through Stripe; they are not escrow or a bank deposit. Fill The Room does not transfer the contracted artist payout before the performance. After the scheduled end, both parties may confirm completion or report an issue. Mutual confirmation permits immediate release; otherwise release occurs after the stated 24-hour issue window when no issue is open.
Each booking carries a versioned Flexible, Standard or Strict policy. The policy accepted with the booking continues to apply even if marketplace policies change later. A cancellation, no-show or reported performance issue blocks artist release while the applicable refund or payout is reviewed.
Clients and artists must provide accurate information, communicate respectfully and avoid moving an introduced booking outside the marketplace. Safety concerns and disputes may be reviewed by Fill The Room.
